In the coastal mountain forests of California it is often hard to distinguish fog from cloud and visa versa at even modest elevations. The forest area of this print is a place of such 'cloudforest' and is home not only to the last of the great redwoods of the California coast but also to oaks like these which often seem more moss and lichen than tree in the moist forest where they live.
