This Green Jupiter is not one of the heavenly bodies of the solar system. Unlike that of its celestial namesake, its earthly life was brief and secret. It is long gone now. It would have gone entirely unappreciated and altogether unnoticed, were it not for a serendipitous meeting with the camera lens. Its only earthly remembrance now lies in this photograph and in the waning memory of the photographer, C Ribet.
